Our Stamford, CT headquarters desires a motivated, responsible, team-oriented Junior Compliance Officer to report directly to firm’s General Counsel & Chief Compliance Officer (“GC/CCO”).   The ideal candidate will be a professional, critical thinker, possessing excellent written and verbal communication skills and a strong interest in regulatory compliance within the financial services industry. The Junior Compliance Officer will support the firm’s compliance function to ensure the business is conducting itself ethically, and in compliance with firm’s policies and applicable regulations. - Assist in the development, review and enforcement of the firm’s policies and procedures and monitor compliance therewith - Conduct pre- and post-publication review of the firm’s research for quality assurance and compliance with firm policies and procedures - Review employee personal trading activity for compliance with the firm’s personal trading and conflicts policy - Conduct surveillance for employee business use of social media for compliance with the firm’s policies - Maintain interpersonal relationships with Sales, Research and Operations personnel to identify legal and compliance needs and escalate to GC/CCO, as needed - Assist in the development and implementation of policies, procedures and controls relating to new products and services - Assist in the development and maintenance of institutional client service agreement workflow and prepare draft responses to institutional client due diligence responses - Assist in new employee compliance onboarding and maintaining requisite employee registrations - Provide recommendations to improve efficiencies within Legal & Compliance department based upon an acquired understanding of the business - Play a role in the protection of the firm’s intellectual property

The developer should be experienced in full stack web development, preferably Ruby on Rails. Position Overview - Conceptualize and define visual brand representation of Hedgeye’s image, style, voice - Create and implement compelling, original designs for interactive platforms and marketing materials - Work collaboratively across teams translating business requirements, user needs, and technical capabilities into designs that are visually exciting, easy to use, and emotionally engaging - Create visual designs that effectively communicate and connect product function and brand identity - Maintain branding consistency across all projects, media and distribution channels      Key Responsibilities  - Participate in and often lead product ideation and conceptual development - Collaborate with business teams and product managers to provide design support that meets business need and supports product goals - Use strong UI/UX principles to collaborate with product managers, front end developers, engineers and other User Experience representatives toward solutions that communicate product value, generate high conversion, and promote strong engagement with end users  - Translate user stories into functional mockups and prototypes which respect UI/UX principles.
